HARARE – Hip-hop star Holy Ten once again found himself on the receiving end of abuse by some irate fans, after he turned up late for a performance at Jongwe Corner in Harare over the weekend.
The musician, who claimed that heavy traffic had delayed his appearance, was greeted by an angry mob of fans that reportedly did not allow him to get into his stride when he finally arrived on stage.
In a video circulating on social media, the rapper is heard asking fans who attended the show whether he was late or not for his performance.
When they reply in the affirmative, he continues to ask if he should abandon his performance. In one of the videos circulating, a fan can be heard shouting, “Ehe wanonoka, wanga uri kupi. Traffic kudii kwacho. Dzokera zvako hauna basa,” during the event.
This is not the first time that Holy Ten has been confronted by angry fans this year.
In May, the rapper was kicked off stage in Bulawayo, after he took hostilities against his arch-enemy, Saintfloew to the country’s second largest city.
Holy Ten allegedly tried to disrupt his rival’s performance but was instead ejected by angry fans.
