Former Warriors and CAPS United right back Hardlife Zvirekwi’s wife dies

HARARE – Over six years after a car accident that saw his hand being amputated former Zimbabwe Warriors and CAPS United defender Hardlife Zvirekwi has lost his wife Sarudzai Maromo who passed away Monday morning.

The cause of her death has not yet been disclosed.

In a heartfelt statement, CAPS United expressed its sorrow following Maromo’s death.

“CAPS United FC learnt with shock on the passing of Sarudzai Maromo Zvirekwi. Wife to Juniors Coach- Hardlife Daniel Zvirekwi. May her soul rest in peace and we stand to comfort the family.”

Zvirekwi is currently working at CAPS United as one of the club’s juniors coaches.
