HARARE – Former Zimbabwe Warriors defender Ronald Pfumbidzai has signed for ambitious Northern Region Division One side, Scottland FC owned by MP and gold dealer Scott Sakupwanya.
The former CAPS United left back has joined Scottland as a free agent after parting ways with South Africa’s Premiership club SuperSport United recently.
Pfumbidzai joined SuperSport United in July 2023 as a free agent following a stellar season with Chippa United.
This was after his contract with the Chilli Boys expired, signing a two year deal with SuperSport United with an option to extend by a further year.
The 29-year old who has been in the country following his release by SuperSport United, was also on the radar of Yadah FC.
The prophet Walter Magaya owned side was interested in the ex-Bloemfontein defender’s services.
However, the Chitungwiza born footie decided to join Scottland who have expressed their ambition to secure a ticket to play top flight league football.
Recently, the club signed King Nadolo, Cleopas Dube and goalkeeper Bhekimpilo Ncube.
Prior to that, they had already signed former Soccer Star of the Year Denver Mukamba and ex-Kaizer Chiefs left back Lincoln Zvasiya.
