HARARE – Former Highlanders speedy forward, King Nadolo, has completed his move from Yadah FC to ambitious Northern Region Division One side, Scottland FC owned by gold dealer and MP Scott Sakupwanya.
The unexpected transfer move was announced by Yadah on their social media platforms on Tuesday.
“Thank you, King Nadolo, for the memories. Your exploits shall always be engraved in our hearts. Who will never remember your thunderous header which stunned CAPS United at Bata Stadium in October last year?”
The Miracle Boys wrote as they bade farewell to Nadolo, acknowledging his significant contributions to the club.
Interestingly, Nadolo’s move comes at a time it was speculated he is closely associated with the owner Sakupwanya.
It’s thought Nadolo as well as Yadah’s marquee signing Khama Billiat are under the financial backing of the Zanu PF Mabvuku MP, Sakupwanya.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that both players’ financial well-being, including their salaries, are being catered for by Sakupwanya who has expressed clear ambitions to play top flight football.
Apart from Nadolo, the cash rich Scottland has been linked with several Premier Soccer League (PSL) stars.
These include Evans Katema, Dynamos twin brothers Elvis and Kevin Moyo.
Recently, they roped in ex-CAPS United goalkeeper Bhekimpilo Ncube from Hwange on a one-and-half year deal.
Already, the club signed former Soccer Star of the Year Denver Mukamba, ex-Kaizer Chiefs and Warriors defender Lincoln Zvasiya.
They also have in their books, promising goalkeeper Panashe Nyabunga who is on loan from Yadah.
