“She told me that she was going to destroy me” – The Wife actor’s accuser arrested

SOUTH AFRICA – Thandeka Mhlanga, the woman who accused The Wife heartthrob Sipho Ndlovu of assaulting her has been arrested, with the South African actor claiming that she swore she would ruin his reputation when he chose to end their relationship.

Mhlanga claimed that Ndlovu had assaulted her when she went to check on him and found the actor with another woman.

When she made her allegations, Mhlanga claimed she had opened an assault case at the Cosmo City Police Station but she was still waiting for a case number.

However, in an ironic twist, it has emerged that Mhlanga is the one who has been arrested and is now in custody waiting a court appearance.

Ndlovu, who said he had evidence that proved that Mhlanga was the one who tried to force herself on him, said he had decided to turn to law enforcement authorities to protect his brand from Mhlanga’s allegations.

“I’m not a woman abuser and I have never laid my hands on a woman. Thandeka is a scorned woman who came to my place to fight with me because I ended our relationship.

“She told me that she was going to destroy me as a public figure. I have to protect my brand as an artist. I never wanted things to be like this but this is an opportunity to prove my innocence.

“This is a warning to other women who go all out to destroy the reputation of other men when the relationship ends,” he said.

Gauteng Police spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza said the police have arrested one suspect, who is charged with assault common, crimen injuria and defamation of character.

“The suspect was arrested today and will appear at the Randburg Magistrate’s court tomorrow,” she said.
