SA court orders forex dealer Grootman to stop releasing sex tapes of his ex

Notorious South African forex dealer Themba “Grootman” Selahle has been told by the courts to stop uploading X-rated content of his ex-girlfriend Gcinile Twala.

A video of the two has been circulating on social media over the past week, with many believing that Grootman had released it so as to punish his ex-girlfriend for walking away from him.

After the matter was heard on an urgent basis on Thursday, Grootman was ordered to pay costs to Twala’s attorneys.

Twala was represented by Advocate Mathari Manyisa in a matter that shook South African social media after the release of the first tape.

To make sure that Grootman, who earlier this week claimed the tape he released was only one of 35, desists from posting or distributing more videos and photos, the sheriff was granted leave to serve him by way of substituted services, an email and WhatsApp text.

Judge Mareena Lani Opperman, who presided over the matter, also ordered that the sheriff of the court serves Grootman’s mother Ms Mathekethe Selahle in KwaGuqa Location, Witbank in Mpumalanga with the interdict documents to pass it onto her son.

Grootman spent most of the week claiming that the tape was leaked by a hacker.

“Posting and/or publishing any photos or videos of the applicant (Twala) of any nature. Publishing, disseminating, circulating, distributing, and in any way disclosing to any third parties, whether directly or indirectly, any photos or video recording or any portion thereof, or stills thereof, in his possession which depicts the applicant engaging in sexual activities or made. Harassing, sending any messages containing the applicant to threaten and intimidate her in any manner, whether directly or indirectly,” the interdict read. Telly Africa
