HARARE – Studio 263 star Denzel Burutsa is reportedly in hot water with the family of the woman he is engaged to marry after it emerged that he is planning to leave her for musician Vimbai Zimuto even though she is pregnant.
Zimuto last month let the cat out of the bag and publicly announced her new relationship with Burutsa on social media.
The talented songstress also changed her relationship status to reflect her newfound love. Burutsa, who played Jabu on the classic Zimbabwean soapie, also announced that he was now in a relationship, although he did not specify with who.
However, there seems to be trouble in paradise, with a gossip page alleging that Burutsa was not only cheating on his fiancé, but she was pregnant too.
Burutsa is reportedly angling for a spousal visa to the Netherlands, which Zimuto promised she would help him acquire if their relationship continued.
In a video shared by ZimCelebrity Gossip News, Burutsa is seen pleading with a man, thought to be his would-be spouse’ relative to stop recording him as his fiancé is crying.
“She is crying because you rejected her… how can you reject a pregnant woman,” the man is heard saying as a woman sobs in the background.
The gossip page also alleged that Burutsa is also involved with yet another unnamed woman. The actor has not yet responded to any of the claims.
