From 24 applicants, Highlanders appoint Sihlangu Dlodlo as new club CEO

Bulawayo giants Highlanders Football Club on Tuesday announced the appointment of Sihlangu Dlodlo as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Dlodlo replaces Ronald Moyo who is said to have decided against renewing his contract which expired on 31 March.

Highlanders took to their social media platforms to announce Dlodlo’s arrival.

“Highlanders Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Sihlangu Dlodlo as the new club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect,” confirmed the club.

“All in all, there were twenty-four applicants with five selected for the final interviews, whereupon the club settled for Mr Dlodlo.

“The club would like to sincerely thank all the people who applied for the post and those who participated in the interviews for the same.

“Finally, once again, the club would like to thank the outgoing CEO, Mr Ronald Moyo, and wish him all the success in his future endeavors.”

Dlodlo’s profile on his social media platforms that include Facebook and Linkedin, suggest he is an “Experienced Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Bakery industry.”

He studied for a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Entrepreneurship at Lupane State University.

Dlodlo also studied for a Masters in Marketing Strategy at the Midlands State University.

His work experience includes working for Lobels and Bakers Inn bakeries as a Marketing Manager.

He also worked in the same capacity at Amakhosi (Theatre) Productions.
