Yadah FC striker Junior Zindoga is on the path to recovery after undergoing a successful operation in South Africa to repair broken metacarpals in his hand.
According to the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ), Yadah flew Zindoga to the neighbouring country for emergency surgery after he broke two metacarpals in his left hand.
The former Maritzburg United forward suffered the injury when Yadah drew 1-1 with Hwange away at the Colliery Stadium in their season opener recently.
Wishing Zindoga a speedy recover, the FUZ took to its social media platforms.
“Wishing Yadah FC striker Junior Zindoga a speedy recovery after a successful operation.
“He suffered two broken metacarpals in the left hand in a match against Hwange FC. Yadah FC, flew him to South Africa for an emergency operation,” FUZ posted on Facebook.
Zindoga missed Sunday’s rescheduled league encounter against newcomers Bikita Minerals in Mutare.
Following the injury, Zindoga could miss more action for Yadah who have played to draws in their first two opening league fixtures.
