Former Zimbabwe national team goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva has extended his stay at United States’ third tier league side Michigan Stars.
The club took to its social media platforms to announce the new deal.
“Tatenda Mkuruva is back for another season with the Michigan Stars. Welcome back!,” Michigan Stars posted on their official Facebook page.
Mukuruva, formerly with Dynamos FC joined Michigan Stars in 2019 after parting ways with Zambia’s BuildCon.
In the 2022 season, Mukuruva kept 14 clean sheets to to help Michigan win their first National Independent Soccer Association league championship.
The ex-Cape Town City goalkeeper played 22 out 26 matches and wore the captain’s armband during other games.
