HARARE – Former Zimbabwe Warriors talisman Khama Billiat seems to be settling in well at his new club Yadah Football Club.
This comes after Billiat scored a brace to lead the Miracle Boys to a 2-1 win over Mozambican champions Club Ferroviario de Beira in a friendly played on Saturday at The Heart Stadium in Harare.
Billiat, who recently joined Yadah FC as a free agent after a nine-month absence from competitive football, scored both goals in the first half, opening his scoring account for Yadah.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star has been without a club since June 2023 after he parted ways with the Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Billiat made his debut for Yadah last week when they lost 1-0 to Hwange at the Colliery Stadium.
He made a cameo appearance following his introduction in the 75th minute replacing King Nadolo.
He saw his shot in the dying minutes of the game hitting the crossbar as he nearly rescued Yadah from a defeat in their season opener.
Billiat’s arrival at Yadah for US$20,000 made him the highest paid player in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
He is reportedly earning US$3,500 per month.
