Passion Java and wife donate ambulances to Chitungwiza Hospital
Seven months after being challenged about the state of healthcare facilities in Zimbabwe during an interview with Nehanda TV in London, flamboyant preacher Prophet Passion Java and his wife Lily Java have donated two ambulances, hospital beds and wheelchairs to his hometown of Chitungwiza.
Nurses and other healthcare workers from Chitungwiza Hospital were on hand to receive the donations given under the auspices of both Passion Java and the Lily Java Foundation.
A member of his team who spoke to Nehanda Radio said “this vital contribution is set to enhance emergency response capabilities and strengthen health services for the community in Chitungwiza.”

In a country with a “Mbinga Culture” of rich individuals flaunting their wealth in a sea of poverty, Java and his wife won praise for the donation as something that could spark much needed attention for the country’s ailing health care system.
His social media rival, Jit musician Baba Harare however had a comical take on the donation, writing on facebook; “Nhaka nema Ambulance ayo tinochiona. Akatofita kurira achiti ngenyi ngenyi.”
