BULAWAYO – Highlanders FC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ronald Moyo is set to part ways with the club at the end of March upon the expiry of his contract, the Bulawayo giants have announced.
This was revealed by the club through a media statement issued on Thursday citing Moyo “elected not to renew his contract” which expires on 31 March 2024.
Reads the statement: “The Highlanders Football Club’s Executive Committee takes this opportunity to convey to its members, supporters and all stakeholders that the club’s Chief Executive Officer Mr Ronald Roland Moyo has elected not to renew his contract at its expiration due on the 31st of March 2024.
“The club is profusely thankful and grateful for the commitment that Mr Moyo exhibited during his tenure firstly as the Media Officer and presently in the role of (CEO).
“His contribution to the club’s endeavours towards continuous development will always be cherished. We wish him unlimited success in all his future endeavours.”
Moyo who succeeded Nhlanhla Dube, was elevated to the role of CEO in 2020 after spending a few years as the club’s media officer.
A former journalist with Southern Eye, Moyo arrived at Bosso from now defunct Bantu Rovers where he worked as their media liaison officer.
