Liquid C2, Google Cloud and Anthropic partner to boost Africa’s digital future

Liquid C2, a subsidiary of Cassava Technologies, has announced partnerships with Google Cloud and Anthropic to deliver advanced cloud, cybersecurity, and generative AI (gen AI) solutions to businesses across Africa.

“Our collaborations with Google Cloud and Anthropic signify a significant step change in our journey as Africa’s leading cloud and cyber security provider,” said Strive Masiyiwa, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Cassava Technologies.

“We are confident that this partnership will help us deliver AI-powered solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities of Africa’s digital transformation.”

The collaboration builds on a previous agreement between Liquid C2 and Google Cloud, signed in November 2023.

Through this new partnership, Liquid C2 will become one of Google Cloud’s largest Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) in Africa, offering businesses improved cybersecurity solutions and access to Google Cloud’s latest AI, data, collaboration, and security solutions.

Liquid C2 will also leverage Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform to provide businesses with access to AI models from both Google Cloud and Anthropic.

Additionally, Liquid C2 will deliver Google Workspace, a suite of cloud-based productivity and collaboration tools, to customers across the continent.

The partnership aims to empower African businesses with cutting-edge technologies, fostering innovation and attracting global investment to the continent. Liquid C2 is also working directly with Anthropic to develop AI solutions specifically tailored for large African enterprises.

With over 80% of the largest businesses in Africa already using Liquid C2’s digital solutions, the company believes it is well-positioned to deliver these new AI-powered offerings to a broad range of clients.

This partnership is expected to play a crucial role in driving Africa’s digital transformation by providing businesses with the tools and technologies they need to compete in the global marketplace.
