Former Zimbabwe senior national team skipper Willard Katsande has joined the technical team of South African lower league outfit Crystal Lake FC.
Lake took their social media platforms on Wednesday to announce that they have roped in the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder into their technical staff.
“Crystal Lake FC welcomes the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard (Salt and Vinegar) Katsande to the technical team”, the club confirmed.
The appointment comes at a time the former Ajax Cape Town midfielder once revealed he wants to coach the Warriors in the near future.
This was after he obtained his CAF D coaching badge following his retirement from football in 2022.
“I have dreams of moving into coaching because I have the passion and one day, I want to be the head coach of one of the PSL teams.
“My main objective is to coach the Zimbabwe national team,” revealed Katsande in December 2022.
