SOUTH AFRICA – The late kwaito star Mampintsha might be gone but he is not forgotten, with his widow, self-proclaimed Queen of Gqom, Babes Wodumo, writing a heartfelt letter dedicated to him on Valentine’s Day.

Mampintsha passed away in December 2022 after suffering from a stroke. In the note, shared on her Instagram account, Wodumo said she was happy that she had found her soulmate at a young age.

“As young as I was when we met, thank you Father God for allowing me to find my soulmate at such a young age. What a journey it was sthandwa sam.

The note came only a week after Wodumo seemingly confirmed her relationship with former Amaroto front-man Zuma by sharing a picture of them together.

The couple first sparked rumours of a romance late last year when they were spotted together at a music festival. Since then, they have been seen together at several events and have even attended parties together.

“She is young and is allowed to move on with her life. She has done her part and mourned her husband for a year,” a source told Zimoja last month. Telly Africa
