Former Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielders Khama Billiat and Kuda Mahachi are reportedly being linked with moves to join Harare giants Dynamos.

According to Zimpapers Sport, Billiat’s deal is almost done.

“Billiat’s deal is as good as “done and dusted. He will wear jersey number 12.

“Everything, including his salary, which will be the highest across the league, by a significant margin, has been agreed,” wrote the publication.

“He could be available for the season- opening Castle Challenge Cup tie against Ngezi Platinum Stars on February 24 at Baobab.”

The publication went on to suggest that “Mahachi is keen to join Dynamos”.

“Zimpapers Sport also has it on good authority that Mahachi has agreed in principle to get basically the same salary that the current highest earners at the club (Dynamos) take home.

“He (Mahachi) is expected in Harare from his Bulawayo base in the coming few days.”

The former Zimbabwe national team stars are currently unattached.

Billiat is unattached since July 2023 when he left Kaizer Chiefs after reportedly refusing a substantial salary cut upon renewal of his ‘new’ contract.

On the other hand, Mahachi is also a free agent after Ghanaian side Madeama FC released him recently.

The 30-year-old spent five months at the club that went on to release him due to concerns over his fitness.

Billiat and Mahachi have played for renowned clubs in South Africa like Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town, Golden Arrows, SuperSport United, Sundowns and Chiefs.
