Struggling Kaizer Chiefs star Keagan Dolly admits ‘I miss playing with Khama’

Out of form Kaizer Chiefs’ attacker and vice captain Keagan Dolly, has lamented the absence of his teammate Khama Billiat who was ruled out for the rest of the season due to a torn groin muscle.

The Bafana Bafana left footed midfielder whose performance is currently below par and is also struggling for consistency, says “I miss playing with Khama”.

He believes the former Warriors forward absence has affected both his form and the team’s consistency going forward.

“I miss playing with Khama. We all know what he can bring on the pitch, his experience, his quality, and just our understanding, you know.

“But, it’s part of the game, he’s out, and there are other players who can come in and do the job,” he told iDiski Times.

“It’s just for us to start understanding each other, and I think that’s been the main problem in our inconsistencies, of trying to get combinations right.”

Billiat and Dolly always combine well since the duo’s days at Mamelodi Sundowns when they formed the CBD together with Brazilian Leonardo Castro.

Dolly’s remarks came before Saturday’s Soweto derby pitting Chiefs and Orlando Pirates played at the FNB Stadium.

Chiefs won the match 1-0 after Nigerian defender Olisah Ndah scored an own goal in stoppage time.
