Defensive midfielder Adrian Silla has reportedly ‘forced his way out’ of Bulawayo based giants Highlanders Football Club to join CAPS United in Harare.
According to Chronicle, Silla who has a running contract with Highlanders after penning a three year deal with the club in 2022 has started training with CAPS.
A source that spoke to the publication confirmed the aggressive midfielder is now with the Green Machine.
“Adrian Silla has been sold by Highlanders to Caps United, he has been a problem from last season when he did not attend training sessions and the best decision was to sell him.
“He did plead for a second chance but even the coaches were fed up with him, a new environment can help him.”
Reports also suggest that talented midfielder and the Soccer Star of the Year finalist Devine Mhindirira also wants out of the Bulawayo giants.
New premier league boys Simba Bhora and Bosso’s rivals Dynamos are said to be among his destinations.
Both clubs are admirers of the former Bulawayo City attacking midfielder who is also reportedly on the radar of a Sudanese club.
However, Highlanders’ spokesperson Nozibelo Maphosa did not confirm the departure of the pair that has never attended the club’s pre-season training programme since its commencement two weeks ago after going AWOL.
“There has not been any new information on the two players once there is anything we will surely communicate,” she told the Chronicle.
