Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe recruit former goalkeeper Gift Muzadzi

Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe at the weekend announced the appointment of former Dynamos and national team goalkeeper Gift “Umbro” Muzadzi.

Muzadzi will be in charge of their U-17s and U-19s teams.

“One of Zimbabwe’s finest Goalkeepers and coaches Gift Muzadzi has joined our Technical Team in our aim to produce World Class talent from our Campus through the Real Betis Methodology of football,” wrote Betis.

“We are delighted to have his experience in both his playing and coaching career. Gift [Muzadzi] will lead our Goalkeepers Department in our senior age groups.

Muzadzi joins Betis Academy a month after leaving Dynamos who decided against renewing his contract which expired on the 31st of December, 2022.

He be working together with former Dynamos sons Naison Muchekela and Tichaona Diya.

Muchekela was appointed by Real Betis last week as a direct replacement for another ex-Dynamos player Murape Murape who was re-appointed by the Harare giants as an assistant coach.
