Meanwhile, the 2016 Chibuku Super Cup winners also announced that they have parted ways with seven players.

Ex-Dynamos captain Denver Mukamba, Mandlenkosi Mlilo, Last Jesi, Issa Ali, Derek Bonnah, Junior Zindoga and Anelka Chivandire are the seven players that were released by the club.

Ngezi Platinum are under the tutelage of Takesure Chiragwi who was initially the club’s interim coach before he was appointed the substantive gaffer at the end of the previous (2022) campaign.

Chiragwi has been Ngezi’s assistant coach before his elevation to the head coach post last year following the sacking of the ex-Warriors skipper Benjani Mwaruwari for poor results.

Mwaruwari who coached the side for only four months before being shown the exit door, had replaced Rodwell Dhlakama who also got fired by the club though not for producing poor results but allegedly for misconduct.
