The future looks bright for pint sized and newly signed Simba SC and Zimbabwe International midfielder, Perfect Chikwende after he scored his debut goal against Sudanese giants Al Hilal.

He scored during his team’s 4-1 win over Al Hilal in a Simba Cup match that was played today at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, in Tanzania.
Speaking to Nehanda Radio, the pint sized midfielder said he is delighted by his debut goal.
The former Bulawayo Chiefs and FC Platinum midfielder maestro, expressed his appreciation towards his new teammates. He also thanked them for receiving him well into the team.
“I feel so happy to have scored on my debut goal.
“I would also like to give thanks to all my teammates for their hard work. They kept on encouraging me to attack more, until i got my first goal for my new club.
“I am also grateful to all my teammates for appreciating and showing me love since day one. They gave me a warm welcome,” Chikwende told Nehanda Radio.
“I am still in the process of adjusting to both the team’s system and the tactics of my new coach,” he said.
The 27-year old midfielder also indicated weather conditions were his biggest challenge so far.
“The only challenge so far is the harsh new weather conditions. The place is very hot.’

Yesterday, Chikwende was joined by his fellow countryman, Peter Muduhwa, who concluded his six months loan move to Simba SC from Highlanders FC.
The Bulawayo based Chronicle newspaper reported that the player’s agent, George Deda, presented a free loan transfer deal to the Bulawayo giants.
However, Bosso turned the offer down, only to agree to a $USD8, 000 formal offer from Simba.
Should Muduhwa impress during his short stint with Simba, the Tanzanian giants will approach Highlanders for a permanent transfer deal. Nehanda Radio
