A Chitungwiza suspected armed robber is set to appear in court today for giving false names after being arrested.

Panganai Josphat Munodawafa was arrested for striking an Ecocash dealer on the head before making away with $24 000 and falsifying his name to the police saying he was called Obert Madziva.
Confirmation of finger prints matched the name Munodawafa while he had lied that he was called Madziva.
He also has other cases committed in Marondera in 2011 and 2013 while he is from Hwedza origin.
The case came to light when Munodawafa allegedly followed Kumbira Chirunga from an Ecocash shop at Chikwanha Shopping Centre to Ziko where the latter resides and struck the complainant before stealing $24 000 together with accomplices who are still on the run.
Munodawafa will be back in court on April 24 for the robbery case. H-Metro
