Chanter Jah Signal yesterday opened the lid on his messy fallout with his erstwhile lover.
The 23 year old grabbed headlines for allegedly bedding 15 women in six months but says their problems with Presh Dlowayo started when he refused to be centrally locked as per her request.
He bared his soul to H-Metro as he gave his side of the story after being accused of being a love rat.
“I hate that woman with a passion because of all the frustrations she has made me go through,” he said.
“She was older than me so she had her own insecurities.
“As a result of that, I ended up being a victim as she forced me to consume various love potions that she would give me so that I don’t leave her for other women.
“Her plan was to make me relocate to South Africa where she is based but I couldn’t do that because I have a very big family which I am looking after.
“When she realised that I wasn’t interested in relocating to South Africa, she then started to pester me saying she wanted to get me centrally locked so that I won’t be able to sleep with other women.”
The energetic performer thought she joking.
“At first, I thought she wasn’t serious so I wanted to see if she really meant it which prompted me to agree to what she was saying and she took me to a sangoma in Mufakose.
“When we got there, the sangoma asked me if I had made up my mind to get centrally locked and I refused. From there, we started having more problems and I decided to leave her.”
Apart from being forced to be centrally locked, Jah Signal also claimed Presh was into juju which is against the chanter’s Christian beliefs.
“She didn’t trust me and as remedy to that her solution was to use juju on me.
“Though I did not end up being centrally locked, I unknowingly consumed a lot of juju that she would force me to take time and again.
“I still remember at one time, I went home and discovered that the whole house was filled with smoke from what she was burning. “It was becoming scary so I decided to leave her,” he said.
Jah Signal went on to claim that he was now living in fear of Presh whom he accuses of hiring thugs to attack him.
“My life is in danger because I believe something bad can end up happening to me.
“I believe this woman is working with some music promoters who are after my downfall because I have failed to work with them.
“When I was in South Africa for a few months there was an incident when she came to my show and caused a scene.
“She has always been a violent person and when she was here she almost stabbed me with a knife,” he said.
Jah Signal also said he was willing to go for a paternity test with Presh since he was not convinced he is the biological father of their child.
“I don’t believe that I am the father of the child that she claims to be mine because the time when the child was born and when I last slept with her do not tally.
“I am ready to go for paternity tests with her so that we come to a conclusion on the matter,” he said.
Despite the messy divorce, Jah Signal has vowed to remain focused with his music. H Metro
