Mahachi’s contractual situation has been unclear since he reunited with Arrows at the beginning of 2016/ 17 from Mamelodi Sundowns, having somehow made the same switch from The Brazilians outside the transfer window in 2015.

“Knox Mutizwa and Kudakwashe Mahachi are back with the team and will be playing for us for another season,” said Arrows in a statement yesterday.

Mutizwa, who shone upfront for the Warriors at the COSAFA Cup, has seen his loan deal from Bidvest Wits renewed after impressing in the second half of last term.

He bagged five goals in 14 league appearances under coach Clinton Larsen.

The MTN8 quarter-finalists have added defenders Mzwandile Buthelezi and Zolani Nkombela and striker Thabiso Mgwaba to their roster. The Herald
