Prophet Walter Magaya’s bodyguards who were arrested on Monday for assaulting court officials are set to appear at the Mbare Magistrates Court today.
The trio of Takudzwa Magaya, John Chisvo and Tongai Bishu are expected to appear in court facing charges of assaulting High Court Additional Assistant Sheriff Tonderayi Tsunga.
They are currently detained at Waterfalls police station under case CR3026696.
The attack came after the Sheriff’s staff tried to proceed to attach property for a debt that Prophet Magaya’s PHD Ministries owes to Morden Bricks in the sum of $14 320.00
Human rights lawyer Arnold Tsunga, who is a brother to one of the victims, confirmed to Nehanda Radio that three of the suspects had been arrested and were expected in court this morning.
“Yes, three of the suspects were arrested on Monday and are currently detained at Waterfalls police station and appearing in court this morning,” said Arnold Tsunga. Nehanda Radio
