The Vice President of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T), Thokozani Khupe, was involved in a car accident on the way to her rural home.

According to her personal assistant, Witness Dube, on Saturday at 15:46 “Khupe’s Isuzu Twin Cab veered off the road and hit a tree while trying to avoid what would have been a worse off accident scenario, 60km outside Bulawayo on the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road.”
Dube said “she has been seen by a doctor at Galen House Medical Clinic in Bulawayo and is currently resting at her home. She is in a stable condition and will hopefully resume her normal duties not so long after completing her medical prescriptions.”
“May I thank your prayers in advance as we remain grateful for the mercy she was shown in this untimely accident,” Dube said. Nehanda Radio
