Jealousy Mawarire, the spokesperson of Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF), a new party led by Joice Mujuru, made the sensational tweet on his account on Thursday.

“Jonathan Moyo and Tsitsi Mabukucha sold Kingstons building in Harare, cant account (for)  $114, 000 from sale. Not arrested,” alleged Mawarire.

Mabukucha is the ex-wife of Sylvester Nguni, the former minister of State in Mujuru’s office.

He is now a top member of ZimPF after being expelled from Zanu PF together with her boss who used to deputise Mugabe.

He based his claim on a reported dossier by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC).

Moyo and Mawarire exchanged words on Twitter, with the latter insisting on his allegation.

“What about anti-corruption commission allegations that (you) sold Kingstons building and misused the money?” said Mawarire.

Moyo dismissed the ZimPF spokesperson’s claims as lies.

“It’s not on for a spokesperson of a party to say I sold a Kingstons building (and) pocketed ($114,0000 and) was not arrested!” Moyo fired back.

“It’s no twitter polemic when a party official repeatedly tweets lies I sold a Kingstons building & pocketed k114 $114,000)!” he added.

Moyo reported Mawarire to the police and he surrendered himself yesterday and he was subsequently released after submitting a warned and cautioned statement.

Mawarire alleged on Twitter that Moyo had caused his arrest and written a three page affidavit to nail him. Nehanda Radio
