Opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) leader Morgan Tsvangirai was today mobbed by scores of supporters who came to welcome him back at the party’s Harvest House headquarters following a long absence due to illness.

The former Prime Minister in the past coalition government was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and went for treatment in South Africa.

Business came to a standstill along Nelson Mandela Street in the capital as placard waving party supporters danced and ululated.

Riot police had to come in to control the crowd.
