Popular Ghanaian actor and fashion designer, Elikem Kumordzi, has revealed his Zimbabwean wife, Pokello Nare, gets really uncomfortable when he plays romantic roles in movies.
He said his wife whom he met during their stay in Big Brother Africa The Chase in 2013, has issues with him taking up such roles, especially those that require him kissing a lady.
Speaking on PopTV, the Ghollywood cum Nollywood act said, “My wife doesn’t really like it when I take up characters that require me to kiss.
“Sometime she goes like, why don’t they give you like a bad guy role, a gangster or anything but a kissing role?’
“For me, I think it is just normal that any woman shows concern but that is just it, but she would rather I play non-romantic roles.” Daily Star (Nigeria)
