Makosi Today Season 3 up and running
Television show Makosi Today, presented by former UK Big Brother star Makosi Musambasi, has now launched Season 3 with the star admitting she conceived the idea when she was homeless in the UK.
The first episode in the Season was an interview with Dare Art Alade – popularly known as Darey – who is a Nigerian multi-platinum selling and award-winning musician, singer-songwriter, and Idol series judge.
“Season 3 is ready and all seasons will soon be on Mnet Zambezi Magic,” Makosi told Nehanda Radio.
“What started off as a dream in a bed and breakfast in England while I was homeless is becoming something even I didn’t see happening.
“Getting the platforms i.e. ZBC, VOX was not easy because in these places you have to know someone who knows someone, but with God it all turned out amazing.
“I’ve had as amazing team work with me…it all started in a cafeteria when I met a young director called Munyaradzi Bloggo. The journey has been rough I don’t even know how we managed season 3 but God. It’s out of this world crazy.
Makosi told Nehanda Radio that Mnet Zambezi Magic has snapped up Makosi Today Season 1 and 2 and talks on Season 3 are also at an advanced stage.
“One lesson I have learnt is “don’t wait to be given a platform, create one. If you wait. ..you might be waiting forever. As Nike would put it…just do it…what is written will be. No one can stop it but you,” Makosi added.
