“The album is now ready and we are launching it on November 20 at 7 Arts Theatre. Everything is now in place and we are expecting a successful event,” said Mare.

The songbird believes she has grown musically and time has come for her to conquer showbiz. She spoke to the media last week during a Press listening session at JP Studios, where most of the songs were recorded.

“I have invited you here (to the studio ) so that you listen to the songs and explain to you the meaning and concept behind some of the songs. The songs are actually based on social life, love and what people experience in their day to day lives.

“I believe so, its an honest album, I put everything and I am giving it to the people. As an artiste I am growing and I am ready for new challenges,” she said.

Songs on the album include Shinga, Natsa, Kwahi Hanzi, Muchato, Murudo ft Jah Prayzah, Mudiwa Wangu, Waita Mari, Ngoro and Moto Ngaubvire among others.
