The Heroes and Defence Forces holiday period was dominated by rumours that the singer, famed for his liberation war songs, had passed away after collapsing at Parirenyatwa Hospital.

But in a short video clip issued on Wednesday, Comrade Chinx poured scorn on the rumours saying;

“Roger positive, Roger popopopopo positive, vanonyepa ava vanoti ndafa, ndichifa, ndichifireyi, ndichisiya Harare ini? Ndichisiya Zimbabwe ini, kusiya Africa, inyika yangu iyi, this is my own world, be very careful, Rooo.. positive.”

It’s not clear where the rumours started from but Comrade Chinx was clearly not amused.
