Soul Jah Love, Seh Calaz to share stage

HARARE – It has been confirmed, Soul Jah Love and Seh Calaz are now friends. The two are now in good books after talks between the two camps and they even shared a meal at Soul Jah Love’s canteen in Mbare.

Calaz manager Godfrey ‘Vokal’ Bakasa exclusively told H Metro that they are frequenting Jah Love’s canteen for meals, signs that all is now well between the camps.

BakAsa said it is not just a publicity stunt but relations between them have been repaired.

“Everything is now ok between us and we go to his canteen for our meals. We sat down and we ironed our differences. As we said before, we want this to be permanent hence we took our time,” he said.

The two will share the stage tomorrow at the Seh Calaz birthday bash to be held at the Mbare Netball Complex.

Fellow dancehall chanter Kinnah, who was also reported to be a rival to Calaz, is also billed to perform.

This has revived the famous Mbare trio, which comprises of Seh Calaz, Soul Jah Love and Kinnah and they are expected to perform their hit song, Ma One Atanga which made them household names.

Dubbed the double celebration, Seh Calaz will celebrate his birthday and it will also be a farewell gig for his tour of the United Kingdom together with Terminator, Ricky Fire, PTK and Bev.

Other artistes to perform are Killer T, Shinsoman, Freeman, Dhadza D, Jerry B and Terminator.

Killer T who is currently in top form is also expected to send fans wild when he takes the stage. Speaking about the birthday bash, Bakasa said:

“We are urging all Zim dance hall fans and music lovers at large to come and celebrate a birthday that’s never been held before, the line up is a first of this magnitude and we are also promising a well choreographed and organized show.”
