Stunner challenges Mudiwa to battle

Flamboyant rapper, Stunner, recently returned from the US where he was on holiday, has challenged rival gospel Christian rapper, Mudiwa, to battle on another baseline following the latter’s accusation that Stunner stole a song from him.

Last week, the two rappers released their song recorded on the same beatwith chorus, “Vegodo vandikonewa” by Mudiwa and “Vandikonewa” by Stunner.

Though the two had an agreement to do the recording, Mudiwa then came out blaming Stunner for stealing his song, an accusation Stunner denied and has since posted a challenge to record another if Mudiwa insists the song was stolen from him.

Stunner took to his official Facebook page and posted: “Incase you wer confused on what is going on with the song Vandikonewa you know artist Stunner, when it comes to music hatiudzirwe. From writing big songs like Rudo Rwemari , dhafukorera, team hombe hameno, panofa munhu, chibhodhoro , painkiller, Godo. Tazoita Cash does not need to steal a song from Mudiwa. (But we can let u use our style and sing gospel)

“Stunner was given this song in February as seen in the screenshot and mudiwa got it recently so if anything mashark should be the ones varikupopota but because music is for the pple i told Mudiwa we could sing on the same track kuti tifadze mafans (chaunga) but Mashark akazonyanyo gona since song was designed for the shark and Kana uchiteedzera Stunner how on earth do u think u r going to be better than him at his own style?

“We don’t steal songs and if I did then Why did the producer (Craig bone) make a sleeve for my version and why does he approve of my song? Why is Mudiwa the one arikupopota ega?

Stunner came out the victor with his version of the song (Vandikonewa) when the ratings were held on the star FM Breakfast Club’s Rate it or Hate it. H Metro
