HARARE – A 24 year old sex worker of no fixed abode appeared before the court on allegations of stealing cash amounting to US$3 600 from a tobacco farmer.

Precious Dube denied the charge of theft when she appeared before Mbare magistrate, Shelly Zvenyika.
She was remanded in custody to June 23 for trial continuation.
It is the State’s case that on May 12 at around 10pm, Bovern Pasirai, 42, was at Las Vegas Nightclub in Southerton where he was having drinks with Dube.
It is alleged that in the early hours of the next day, the two went to ZB Bank where Pasirai withdrew US$3 600.
Pasirai and Dube proceeded to No. 2766 Jerusalem in Highfield at a lodge where they had sex.
Accusations are that Dube took advantage of Pasirai, who had fallen asleep, by searching his pockets and stole the US$3 600.
Pasirai lodged a complaint with the police leading to the arrest of Dube.
Vincent Chikerema appeared for the State.
