The Zimbabwe-bred musician, who was born in the Zambian city of Ndola, is delighted by the impact the song she released last month is making.

“Moving up the Billboard Club Charts, many thanks to all the DJs for their support and special thanks to Frank A Ceraolo,” she said.

Ceraolo is a New York City-based music marketing guru.

Rozalla is best known in Zimbabwe and all over the world for her blockbuster hit Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good) which reached number six in the United Kingdom Singles Chart in 1991.

The song became a Top 10 hit in many European countries soon afterwards and reached the Billboard Top 40 the following year. It remains her biggest hit to date. The highlight of her career was being the opening act during Michael Jackson’s Dangerous World Tour in 1992.

After opening for Jackson, particularly on the European leg of the tour, Rozalla became a global sensation.

The 1996 remix of Everybody is Free reached number 30 in the UK Singles Chart but 1998 album Coming Home failed to scale the heights reached by Everybody’s Free.

Though she was a supporting act during Billy Ocean’s tour of the United Kingdom in 2009, Rozalla’s career somewhat took a back seat until the release of If You Say It Again a month ago.

Rozalla’s studio albums include Everybody’s Free (1991), Look No Further (1995), Coming Home (1998) and Brand New Version (2009).

The Zimbabwe-bred star came up with various compilation albums that included Everybody’s Free-Style  Remixed To Perfection (1993), Feelin’ Good’ (1998), Best of Rozalla Miller (2003) and Everybody’s Free (Special Edition with DVD) in 2004. Daily News
