HARARE – In this Nehanda Radio picture exclusive flamboyant businessman Philip Chiyangwa can be seen with his wife Elizabeth Juma in 1988.

Speaking to Nehanda Radio, Chiyangwa narrated how he met his wife.
“I lived in Seke, Chitungwiza, Unit M and she was in Unit F. She was a regular Catholic going to church every Sunday and I salivated each time I saw her walk past in the company of her mum, pushing a pram (sisters son) and it so happened one day on my way to work, she and her friend were hiking to school.
“That’s the day on the corner of the popular Makoni road/council offices road that I scooped my jackpot. I gave them a lift in my Datsun pick-up 1000cc (my cousin Joseph Mapondera (late), had lent it to me for my Disco errands (I used to run Phids Electric Sounds Disco) on weekends.
“Emily her friend was more the friendlier one but I immediately declared my interest was her and was to take them to whatever place they wished to go, and promised to bring them back home as well as regularly do it. Guess it was love at first sight…. One thing led to the other,” Chiyangwa told Nehanda Radio.
