HARARE – First Lady Grace Mugabe returned home on Sunday morning after nearly two months in Singapore where it was claimed she underwent an operation for appendicitis.

She was received at Harare International Airport by Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, cabinet ministers and thousands of ZANU PF supporters.
The return put to an end speculation about the state of the First Lady’s health amid rumours she was seriously ill.
Some sections of the media had speculated that Grace was in a coma, which explained why she did not immediately return when her husband tripped and fell at the airport early this month after arriving from Ethiopia.
She returns to a storm in the ruling ZANU PF where she is one of officials on a disciplinary committee set up to investigate former Presidential Affairs Minister Didymus Mutasa who is accused of disrespecting Mugabe. APA
