UNITED KINGDOM – A man who failed to appear in court has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Zimbabwean woman who was killed on the same day.
Gibson Mazikana was due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court (London) on Friday where he was expected to be sentenced for actual bodily harm on a police officer.
He has now been arrested over the death of Emily Munemo who was found with stab injuries at a property in Collingwood Road, Hillingdon, west London.
The 41-year-old is in custody at a west London police station.
Emergency services were called to Collingwood Road at 11:00 on Friday. Ms Muenemo died nearly an hour-and-a-half later.
A post-mortem examination on the 42-year-old is set to take place on Tuesday. BBC
