Gospel rap artist Mudiwa “Hood” Mutandwa made his mark after raking up 8 music award nominations in 2012 before winning 4 of them.

Last month he released a new single called Number 1, which fittingly symbolizes the other side of him that he is even more proud to talk about.
Mudiwa is a bit of an academic powerhouse holding a BSc honours in Economics, Psychology and an MBA in Finance. Speaking to Nehanda Radio he said:
“I thank God for my life…everything is possible, you know I started music professionally 2 years ago but I have more hits than distinctions.
“I had on my Masters in Finance degree yet I was the best graduating masters student that year…and to think of it, its just not academic achievements, I have had 11 nominations and 7 awards…no it ain’t a Joke…it can only be Jesus!!’
