A Botswana newspaper claims that Kwaito Kwasa queen Naledi Kaisara known by her stage name of ‘Slizer’ has dumped her South African husband Bosi Mosupi, aka Cobra, so that she can be with Zimbabwean singer Peter Moyo.
According to the Botswana Voice, Slizer admitted she was in love with the Sungura musician and that her marriage to Mosupi had crumbled chiefly because he was a control freak who wanted her to quit showbiz and become housewife.
“Cobra wanted me to quit music and be a housewife but you can’t stop me from doing what I love most, music is my life. We agreed to end our relationship even though we have a child together,” she said.
According to Slizer, Moyo has been very helpful providing a shoulder to cry on especially in the trying times of divorce and all the media stories about her private life. Slizer would not be drawn to tell how they first met.
When Moyo was asked if he was dating Slizer last month, he beat about the bush saying, “Yes, there is something going on between me and Slizer but it’s our secret. I knew people were going to talk.
What is wrong with spending most of my time with Slizer? We are artistes and we have common interests. Last year I invited her to my father’s memorial and then we toured together and one thing led to another. When I go to Botswana and get the chance to see her, I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.”
