Musona manager off to Germany to clarify his future

Knowledge Musona’s business manager Mike Makaab is set for a trip to Europe where he will get clarity on the striker’s future.

‘Knodgy’, who is currently crocked with an ankle injury, is on loan at Kaizer Chiefs for the 2013/14 season from German club 1899 Hoffenheim and, after an impressive campaign, the Zimbabwean marksman says he prefers a return to Europe.

Makaab tells KickOff.com that he would be in a position to shed more light on Musona’s future as soon as he returns home from his trip.

“I’m going to Europe next week and one of my trips is to Germany where I will engage Hoffenheim. Once I get back, I will sit down with Knowledge and Kaizer Chiefs to discuss his future,” he says.

After 16 goals in 25 starts for Amakhosi, Musona is hoping for another chance in Europe and, according to the player, it doesn’t necessarily have to be at Hoffenheim.

“I was lucky to get a second chance with Chiefs, the coaches and players welcomed me with open arms. This is a great team and a team that was my first home, my first professional team. I feel at home here at Chiefs and always will.

“So far I can’t say a lot because from my personal view if I get a team in Europe that is interested in me I will grab the opportunity with both hands.

“I can’t say I will go somewhere else other than Hoffenheim because nothing solid has come from them. If I get another team or if Hoffenheim want me and show strong interest in me I will return to Europe,” he adds. KickOff.com
