Man accuses ex-girlfriend of making out in front of child

A Harare man on Wednesday accused his former girlfriend of bringing home different sexual partners and making love in the eyes of their minor daughter.

This came to light at the Harare civil court where Tedious Makuza was seeking custody of his daughter Letwin Chisachingonga.

“I cohabited with Letwin for three years and she resumed going to the bars chasing after multiple sexual partners after our separation.

“She shares a place in Hatcliffe which is more like a brothel with other ladies of the night who shout at each other using vulgar language.

“I was surprised to receive a call from her teacher complaining about our daughter’s behaviour towards other children at school.

“This woman is a sex worker your worship. I cannot stand her living with different man who are called Dad by my own child. It is better I stay with her since I am now married, Your Worship,” Tedious said.

In response, Letwin said; “there are no prostitutes at my place but there are three couples who share the main house including me, my lovely husband and my daughter.

“Tedious is just trying to avoid paying maintenance but I will never allow him to stay with my daughter and he is ever changing wives. My child is still a minor your worship. I need to be with her, your worship,” Letwin said.

Magistate Gamuchirayi Siwardi, who presided over the case, was yet to make a ruling.
