SOUTH AFRICA – AmaZulu captain Tapuwa Kapini was naturally pleased to make his return from injury in the 2-0 victory over United FC in the Nedbank Cup this past Sunday.

The Zimbabwean’s previous outing for Usuthu came in the 4-1 loss to Kaizer Chiefs just before the festive break. Philani Zikalala has largely been manning the posts for the Durban club this year.
“It’s good to be back,” Kapini told AmaZulu’s official website.
“I’ve been out with an injury so I thank my family, my teammates and all the medics who have done a wonderful job to help with my recovery.”
The 29-year-old added of his efforts at the weekend: “Going back to the game, it’s my job to do well on the field. I think we were prepared because we knew that United FC like to knock the ball from the back.
“The fatigue killed us in the end because we only had a training session last week but credit must go to the guys because they pushed until the end.” KickOff.com
