South African premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs are reaping the rewards of getting striker Knowledge Musona on a season-long loan from German outfit Hoffenheim. Chiefs sold Musona to the Germans in August 2011.
The Zimbabwean forward scored a fantastic goal in a 3-0 win over Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday night as the log leaders extended their lead at the top to nine points. Buoyed by his performances and eight goals in 19 starts, Musona says he expects to score regularly now that he has his confidence back.
“You have to take your chances otherwise you gonna be punished. So I’m happy for Bernard [Parker] and also for myself. My confidence is going up and I’m hoping to see more goals from the guys and myself,” he says.
