State media lead calls for Justice Hungwe to resign over fatal sex romp

HARARE – The predictable is now happening with the Zanu PF controlled state media leading calls for High Court judge Justice Charles Hungwe to resign following the death of businesswoman Gladys Mangwiro after a sex romp between the two.

Justice Hungwe allegedly had a long-standing affair with the Bindura businesswoman which exploded into the public domain after she tragically died last Wednesday from an asthma attack which occurred while the two were allegedly sleeping at her house.

Although Ms Mangwiro’s son Kudzanai Kujenga (31) deposed an affidavit for a post-mortem not to be conducted, since the family was satisfied she died in an asthma attack, the state media has already started a witch hunt claiming Hungwe “left her dying instead of taking her to hospital or a doctor.”

The state media claims that when Justice Hungwe discovered his lover was not feeling well he rushed to the police station and later Bindura Provincial Hospital leaving her alone in the bedroom after the asthma attack and “it is that, rather than his adulterous relationship, that is generating calls for his resignation.”

Contacted for comment Justice Hungwe is quoted saying, “There is no need for you to ask me questions now. I will respond to the reports you published.”

Justice Hungwe spent the greater part of last year being victimized by the Mugabe regime after he ordered the release of human rights lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa and granted a search warrant to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission to search the offices of three Zanu PF cabinet ministers.
