There are women and girls with no rights in this world. They are perishing in the homes and we are busy counting statistics. There is urgent need for practical action. Yes we have campaigns like 16 days of activism but days on their own mean nothing to the poorest of our women and girls suffering out there.

The money we waste in workshops could help the poorest of women who sometimes need about US$10 to just get bus fare to escape violence.
