The 23-year-old Musona penned a five-year contract with Hoffenheim in 2011, but he struggled to adapt in Germany which resulted in him being loaned back to AmaKhosi until the end of this season.

He is expected to return to the Bundesliga in May.

However, Motaung said that Chiefs have given the Zimbabwean forward a chance to think about his situation in Germany, while at the same time revealing that they have an agreement with Hoffenheim which will be reviewed at the end of the season.

“We have given Musona an opportunity to think through his situation. We have an agreement in place with his German team, Hoffenheim which we will review at the end of the season,” Motaung told the Chiefs website.

The “Smiling Assassin” has scored five goals in all competitions since returning to the PSL, and he continues to be the main striker for Stuart Baxter’s side. Goal.com
