Cop caught sleeping with married woman, given thorough beating

A Glen View man was on Thursday thoroughly bashed in Kuwadzana after he was caught with another man’s wife in her bedroom.

Johane Mazwi, suspected to be a cop, was caught sleeping with Linda Mudavanhu by her husband Walter Ndagurwa in their matrimonial bedroom.

Reports are that their child was the whistle blower after he rushed and alerted his father before he busted Mazwi there.

Having been shamed for her actions, the married woman rushed to the police to make a report against her husband to save her lover’s skin.

Sources told H-Metro that Ndagurwa and his wife had been having squabbles which forced him to leave the house five days ago before crashing at his brother’s house in the same neighbourhood.

“The two have been having their squabbles and five days ago Ndagurwa moved out of his house to stay with his brother,” he said.

H-Metro heard that at around 5am their young son rushed to the house where Ndagurwa is staying and told him that he now had a new dad.

“Mwana asvika akati daddy kumba kwaana riini,” said a close source.

Irked by the child’s sentiments, Ndagurwa reportedly rushed to the house and found Mazwi sleeping in his bedroom.

“…and that is where all hell broke loose. The wife rushed to the police akati chikomba chingaurayiwa,” said the source.

The cheating Linda confirmed taking Mazwi into her house and said he had even promised to marry her.

She justified her actions saying Ndagurwa had even given her a token of divorce and she had moved on. She said since the day he had moved out, she has been struggling to feed the child.

“He moved out of the house and I met someone who was willing to take care of me and my child. He even promised to marry me.

“Uyu akatondipa gupuro ndanga ndakutotsvaga munhu anondichengeta nemwana wangu. For the days he has moved out, I have been struggling to make ends meet, kushaya mari yechikafu chaiyo” she claimed.

“Manje munhu waarova mu CID chaiye anotoona moto,” she said.

Mazwi admitted that he was found in the bedroom. He said Linda told him that she divorced her husband 18 months ago.

“Ndatonyarara nyaya yekugraft nekuti inozomakisa. She told me she separated from her husband one and half years ago and that was my first time getting into her house. We have been dating for the past month,” he said.

“I have been advised to see the doctor, ndarohwa nepuranga mumusoro,” he said.

Ndagurwa was held at Kuwadzana police station where an assault case has been reported against him.

Sources told H-Metro that Linda’s actions had been questionable.

“Recently she left home in the morning and returned in the evening saying she had gone to meet someone who wanted to give her a job. Later in the night there were strange calls which she did not pick,” said the source.
